It is very difficult to woo wayward generations in times of old rituals: they cling to the funny things without much thought of what the consequences might be. The rituals are more greater to them than the repercussions. To me, we need to switch this world view all the way round.See More

In my scholarly days I learnt of psychological schemas that play a great role in the way human beings behave and conduct them selves. Much as I do not want to be part of these theories, but I have to admit that schemas do program our lives. Peaceful Revolution, wow!!

A peaceful revolution led by youth toppled a powerful dictator in 18 days, aided by electronic communication invented by young people. I don’t know of any similar event in history; do you? In his last speech Hosmi Mubarak mentioned “young people” several times, acknowledging their power. I feel deep respect for the Egyptian protesters for their discipline and commitment to peace.
